VAGEAD attended the Kick-Off meeting of the "Amber Bridges" Partnership Project in the Field of Vocational Education.

VAGEAD participated in the Kick-Off Meeting of the "Amber Bridges" project, which aims to foster vocational rehabilitation cooperation across Europe. The meeting was hosted online on April 15th by SIVA (Latvia), bringing together key partners from Latvia, Türkiye, and Netherlands.

On April 15th, 2024, Van Gençlik Eğitim Akademisi Derneği (VAGEAD) participated in the Kick-Off Meeting of the "Amber Bridges – Integrating Vocational Rehabilitation across Europe" project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme. The meeting was held online and hosted by the lead partner SIVA – the State Agency for Social Integration in Latvia.

During the session, representatives from all project partners—including SIVA (Latvia), VAGEAD (Türkiye), and EU PRO (Netherlands)—came together to set the foundations for a successful implementation period. The meeting was structured according to a comprehensive agenda, which included:

  • Project introduction by SIVA

  • Tour de table and ice-breaking activity

  • Discussion on upcoming activities and partner responsibilities

  • Agreement on the project’s visual identity

  • Guidelines for project documentation

VAGEAD team emphasized their readiness to support the project with their experience in youth engagement, vocational education support, and transnational project management. As one of the core contributors, VAGEAD aims to ensure inclusive and impactful outreach in Türkiye, with a focus on empowering NEET youth through vocational rehabilitation practices.

The Amber Bridges project (Project No: 2023-2-LV01-KA210-VET-000176183) runs from April 2024 to June 2025, and seeks to create a sustainable exchange of methodologies, tools, and practices to support vocational pathways for disadvantaged groups in Europe.
