The mission and vision of our association is to contribute to raising individuals who are sensitive to the environment we live in. We constantly tell our young people that they can volunteer in every field. Within the scope of our project, we invited our young people, who carry out volunteer work with our elders, to the volunteer planting event within the scope of 5 June World Environment Day. We held our event in Edremit Community Centers with the contributions of Van Metropolitan Municipality and Van Governorship. We held a sapling planting event with our 30 young people and 5 youth workers at our Edremit Community Center. Before and after the event, using various non-formal training techniques, team building games and ice-breaking activities were held to get to know each other better. Before planting saplings, we talked about climate change and environmental problems that our world is facing.
